 It literally makes me sick to my stomach when I close and I have throw away ALL of the dated food for that day.  I was so mad/livid that I sent the picture to the manager and said you better change the way you order because I refuse to throw away this much food again.  Things have gotten slightly better.  This is such a problem with the world.  What a waste when there are millions starving, and many of them right here in the Los Angeles.

Oscar likes the roof (as we established last month), so I decided to join him on the roof.  Little did I know he'd be so excited to soak up the sun with me.  After he attempted to lick off all of my sunscreen (and putting my in laughing fits because of it), he finally laid down and kept me company.

Flaming margaritas with amazing friends - what could be better?  These two hours spent eating and drinking were filled with so many stories and laughing that my stomach and face literally hurt.  These are the best.  Irreplaceable and unforgettable.

Every time I go hiking, I fall more and more in love with life.  Best decision ever was to make it a point to do this as much as possible a week.  It's a must for me to get out of the daily routine and take in everything around me; I mean really take it in- using all of your senses to live in that specific moment...living moment to moment, breath to breath.

You'd think I was in school again because my face is consistently in books lately.  I guess that's a sort-of-true assumption, though.  I'm not officially going to school, but I'm putting myself on a schedule with reading specific books that will help my career, plays to find scenes for my reel, monologues, and just to stay active in my craft.  The book aspect is just part of my "schedule."  Wine and a good play?  What's not great about that?

 Lo got a recipe from Matt's mom for gluten free vegan breakfast bars - this was the end result.  They were beyond delicious and addictive, and the best part - they're good for you.  It's always fun to make breakfast or lunch to bring to work because it gives you something to look forward to on your break, and then when you finally get to it, it's so worth it.

 I BOUGHT A YOGA MAT!  Yes, I'm a nerd, but I took this picture to send to Terah, who I will be doing yoga with at Runyon.  This is part of my new plan for the year of trying new things that will benefit my life in some way.  This will be good for me not just health-wise, but because it will be a guaranteed few times a week I get to hang out with Terah, too.  I am very excited for this new venture...as you can see from my cheesy smile.

 My latest obession: Fruit Smoothies.  I discovered Lo's blender in the cupboard and decided to throw some blueberries, strawberries, and a banana in one day...and I have yet to look back.  This has become a favorite (and healthy) treat for Lo and I, and I honestly look forward to it every time we make them.

 Another Adventure Day.  After work, we randomly decided to go the beach.  We grabbed our blanket, some water, a book each, and headed toward the ocean.  We both, of course, passed out as soon as we closed our eyes, but it was worth it.  Waking up to the salty air, the sound of the waves, and the sand around you is kind of amazing and extremely peaceful.  Finding my Zen for the day: check.

 Family Dinner Night.  Menu: Lo's Salad, Mama Leone and Aunt Anne's homemade gnocchi, and Mama Leone's Spaghetti Sauce and Meatballs.  Delicious.  There is nothing like amazing food and the best of friends.
